The Academy of Country Music and its charitable arm, ACM Lifting Lives, are bringing country music’s biggest names together for a special gala in the heart of Frisco.
Held on the eve of the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards, Play Something Country will honor the legendary duo Brooks & Dunn, who have earned 25 ACM Awards over their storied career.

An Elevated Evening at Omni PGA Frisco
Set for Wednesday, May 7 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Omni PGA Frisco, the gala promises an unforgettable experience with a curated seated dinner, a silent auction and a celebration of the Academy’s six-decade history.
Guests will be treated to standout performances of Brooks & Dunn’s classic hits by Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Keith Urban and Lainey Wilson.
The night will be emceed by radio and TV personality Bobby Bones, with veteran country host Shawn Parr presenting the pre-show and live auction. Kicking off the evening is a cocktail hour sponsored by Choctaw Casino & Resorts, featuring casino-style gameplay before the main program.
Giving Back to the Country Community
Proceeds from the gala will go to ACM Lifting Lives, which supports mental health initiatives within the country music industry. Tables are available in tiered packages starting at $15,000 for eight seats, with premium options for those looking to make an even greater impact.
