Legacy Hall is celebrating Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday with festive New Orleans-inspired food, drinks and music on Saturday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 5.
Legacy Hall and the Box Garden will transform into a huge Mardi Gras bash complete with a crawfish boil, a NOLA style parade, live music by Big Ass Brass Band and specialty drinks.

Saturday, March 2: Mardi Gras: Big Ass Crawfish Boil
Laissez les bons temps rouler with a Crawfish Boil in the Box Garden from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A variety of packages are available for the Crawfish Boil:
- Just Here to Mardi ($25) includes 2 pounds of crawfish (with corn and potatoes)
- The French Quarter ($28) includes 2 pounds of crawfish (with corn and potatoes) and 1 Unlawful Assembly Beer or Soft Drink – $28
- The King of Mardi Gras ($34) includes 2 pounds of crawfish (with corn and potatoes) and 1 Unlawful Assembly Brewing or Soft Drink and 1 Haute Sweets Patisserie Deep Fried Bread Pudding
Hurricanes, Bloody Mary’s and beer will be available on the first and second floors. A New Orleans Jazz Band will perform from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Dave Washburn’s Three Quarters Fast Jazz Band will follow from 3:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and the Big Ass Brass Band will entertain guests throughout the evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. Family friendly activities including face painting and balloon art.

Tuesday, March 5: Fat Tuesday: Fat Tuesday Hall Parade
To continue the celebration, Legacy Hall will feature a NOLA-style parade through the Hall starting at 6 p.m. with a marching band and staff joining in on the fun. $6 Hurricanes will be available for purchase at all bars. Sea Breeze is planning to host a shrimp boil and Haute Sweets Patisserie will serve Deep-Fried Bread Pudding in their stalls.
