Get your groove on at the upcoming Urban Movement Festival in downtown Plano!

On September 21, the Secret Society Club and Plano Stages are bringing hip-hop dance to Plano with the Urban Movement Festival, an event celebrating the culture of hip-hop movement with underground 2 vs 2 dance battles and dance team showcases.

This family friendly event in McCall Plaza is free to the general public. If you’re ready to put your dancing skills to the test, however, entering the competition is $10. The 2 vs 2 open styles dance battle will be judged by three renowned hip-hop artists, and winners will receive prizes.

Even if dancing isn’t your thing, you don’t want to miss this event. Enjoy a special guest performance by dance team The Alliance, as well as food from vendors including Cinnaholics, Sucre Café, Pop-Bar, and more.
