About 167 fans of the Plano community joined the Plano Chamber of Commerce in a grand opening celebration of their new location. Check out our article from last month where we talked about the ‘big move’.

Thursday, August 25 Chamber President Jamee Jolly led the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony. Plano Chamber is now located at 5400 Independence Parkway, Suite 200 in the building space above LegacyTexas Bank, a company that has been a Chamber member for over 46 years.

Following, everyone moved to the kitchen and open area for a reception where guests enjoyed an assortment of food by Catering by Larry. Tours were held for all who were interested.

Previously stuck in a closet due to space, the awards won by Plano Chamber are currently showing off for all to see in well-lit trophy case. A huddle room for interested members is nearby, and just around the corner are staff offices. The coolest part about there office and cube spaces? Ergonomic touches such as the adjustable sit-to-stand desks.

The remaining office space is shared with LegacyTexas, a display of their strong partnership. A mid-sized, 14-person conference room is available to both company’s for meeting use. Large events (like today’s ribbon cutting, business meetings, etc.) will be held in a space that holds over 150 people, and is equipped with a divider option for smaller parties, electronic projector that moves at the push of a button, and a speaker system setup around the room for clear sound.  This large event and meeting space is $150 to rent from the Chamber, or it’s free to reserve to LegacyTexas Bank members—become a member for a $100 one-time only fee.

Plus, individual workstations, a catering kitchen, a coffee bar, 50-inch smart TVs throughout and high-speed Wi-Fi.
