Micky & The Motorcars
When: September 1
Alternative Austin, Texas country band Micky & The Motorcars formed 13 years ago and are still going strong. They are coming to perform at the Courtyard Theatre as part of the Texas Courtyard Music Series this month.

A murder is committed when friends and family gather at a country house for the weekend in this adaptation of Agatha Christie’s famous novel The Hollow, presented by Theatre Britain.

Kong’s Night Out

Directed by Carol M. Rice and presented by Rover Dramawerks, Kong’s Night Out is a farce by Jack Nearly, which takes place beside events of King Kong.

Plano Children’s Theatre presents the world-famous musical set during the French revolution at the Courtyard Theater.
24-Hour Play Festival
When: September 10
Collin College students write, direct, design, rehearse and perform six new plays in a span of 24 hours.

Presented by Repertory Company Theatre & UTD Arts & Humanities, Steel Magnolias tells the story of the tragedy and good fortune of a group of strong, close-knit women.
Student Vocal Showcase
When: September 17
Students of Kaye G. Wright Studio put on an entertaining evening of free performances in Downtown Plano. These free performances are open to the public. “We would love for anyone who enjoys good music and entertainment to join us for a wonderful evening,” says Kaye Wright, voice teacher.
