The CDC estimates that 1.7 million people sustain a traumatic brain injury each year in the US, and 400 cases each day are reported in Texas.
The Brain Injury Network of Dallas is the only Brain Injury Clubhouse in the state of Texas. Designed to facilitate maximum independence in the community, the Clubhouse program offers brain injury survivors a supportive environment to practice everyday functional skills in a true business setting. BIND is a necessary link between therapist-driven care provided from the medical community to survivor-driven goals facilitated within the community.
Their annual Happy Brain Hour and Silent Auction fundraiser is fast approaching. With a buffet, cash bar, photo booth, silent auction and fun brain games, visitors can expect a fun night for a great cause. The title Sponsors are Medical Center of Plano and Medical City Dallas.
