The event that’s sold out for the past 12 years is back this July 4! Plano Symphony Orchestra is putting on a patriotic concert to celebrate our military men and women fighting for our freedom and honor our great country.

“Patriotic Pops” includes everyone’s favorite songs:

“God Bless America”
“America the Beautiful”
“Salute to the Armed Forces”
“Moonlight Serenade”
“1812 Overture”

…as well as a:

Tribute to Henry Mancini
Music from Forrest Gump
Theme from JFK
Favorite [John Philip] Sousa marches

…and featured solos from John Allen, trombone & Glen Hummel, trumpet.

PSO, led by Maestro Hector Guzman, will present this entertaining show. Joining the Plano Symphony will be the Patriotic Pops Chorus, composed of experienced choral singers from the Plano Civic Chorus and other choral groups throughout the North Texas area.
