Come support the 2016 Plano Battle Of The Badges. The Police and Fire Departments go head to head to see which side will collect the most donated blood and take home the coveted Battle of the Badges trophy. The kick off is on Monday, July 4 with the Rotary Clubs of Plano parade float and a Carter BloodCare donation unit. The blood drives begin Tuesday, July 5 and run through Sunday, July 10. Check out the various Plano locations such as Parr Library, Chase Oaks Church and Poor Richards with opportunities to give blood and vote for your favorite hero: The Plano Police or the Plano Firefighters.
Over the years, the trophy has gone back and forth between the Police and Fire Departments in a fierce competition. This is the 12th year of the Battle of the Badges. Stay tuned for the various locations where Battle of the Badges 2016 will land.
