Swimmers from Texas Ford Aquatics in Frisco qualify for U.S. Summer Olympic Trials

The world’s best athletes come together for summer sports at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 5–21. One of the world’s most popular summer events is swimming.

United States Olympic Trials for swimming will be held in Omaha, Nebraska from June 26–July 3, and all tickets to the eight-day event are already sold out. The trials are held to see which top athletes will move on to the Olympic games in August.

Texas Ford Aquatics, in Frisco, have 9 qualifying swimmers going to the Olympic Trials. The swim team is ranked #2 in Texas for the most qualified swimmers, trailing behind the #1 spot by only one swimmer. TFA is ranked #13 out of the entire country.
