Get your jam on, Mon. Downtown Plano Arts District hosts a July 14 reggae concert in McCall Plaza with the good vibes from Watusi, a North Texas group that’s ready to groove.

There’s no cost to come and listen to the music of the islands. Dancing and smiles are the only things required. (Ok—not really. But it would be cool if you showed your grooves!)

Watusi, a 10-member ban, has entertained guests with their Jamaican vibes since 1983. They are based in Dallas but spread “One Love” across the world as they travel for shows in places like Costa Rica, Brazil, Hawaii and Colombia. Watusi is a part of World Beatnik Records and is affiliated with local and worldwide groups that celebrate reggae and the Rasta lifestyle and spirit.
