June is shaping up to be one heck of a month for Historic Downtown Plano! Not only do we have Night Out on 15th to look forward to on Sunday, June 5 (click here for deets and tickets), but there’s also a free blues concert scheduled for Thursday, June 9 at the newly opened McCall Plaza!

Performing from 5–7 p.m is Texas Flood, otherwise known as the best Stevie Ray Vaughan cover band in the Lone Star State! From Dallas, Texas Flood is known as one of the premier blues bands in all of North Texas. With guitarist Tommy Katona leading the way, they bring the raw high energy of music and stage presence that Stevie Ray himself had. Expect more than a show…be prepared for a recreated experience of one of the greatest blues guitarists of all time! So come one, come all and let’s party the night away to classic tunes such as Love Struck Baby, Pride and Joy and Change It.

The show will continue from 7–9 p.m. with another artist yet to have been announced.

Save the date and we look forward to seeing you there!

Top tip: Get there early and grab yourself a table in the new patio of the Filmore Pub. It’s a great vantage point to watch the show with the added bonus of table service of your preferred cold beverage and good ol’ pub grub!
