The best kind of party is a birthday party celebrating another year of greatness.

The nonprofit Hope’s Door turns 30 and is throwing a birthday bash Thursday, May 19 from 5–8 p.m at their resale shop in Plano.

Hope’s Door is a Collin County organization specializing in comprehensive prevention and intervention services to domestic violence victims and their children.

Music, food and great times will be had at the celebration Thursday. All are welcome to join the 30 years of service Hope’s Door has given to the North Texas community.

Hope’s Door offers intervention and prevention services for all members of a family affected by domestic violence – from victim to abuser. Annually, Hope’s Door responds to over 1,900 crisis hotline calls, shelters more than 400 women and children, houses over 50 families in transitional housing and provides counseling and legal advocacy to more than 1,300 survivors.
