Multi-award winning author, Jan Sikes, who is from Allen, Texas has just released another book.

Til Death Do Us Part, is the grand finale of an award-winning series that tells a true story about a veteran Texas musician who was a pioneer in the outlaw music movement years before it had a name. Luke Stone spent his life making music. He was a highly popular entertainer all across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and out to California through the early ’70s, with songs climbing the music charts.

In the first two books of the series, Flowers and Stone and The Convict and the Rose, Jan takes her readers on the epic saga of Luke Stone’s life from the dim lights and smoke-filled Texas dance halls (where he met and fell hopelessly in love with Darlina Flowers) to the darkest cavity of Leavenworth Prison.

In the third book of the series, Home At Last, Luke gains his freedom and is given a second chance at life, at love, and at having a family.

He happily hangs up his neon dreams in exchange and in the fourth book of the series, ‘Til Death Do Us Part, it all comes full circle when he is handed a second chance at a music career. But, his aging body sabotages him at every turn. Luke and Darlina face life challenges that would destroy most, and they face them head on, arm-in-arm and heart-to-heart.

This book is an emotionally charged account of how Luke faces his mortality, anxious to leave a lasting legacy behind. The forlorn hoot of the Owl in the dead of night sends a warning that he dare not ignore.

Jan includes personal pictures in this book and also offers Luke’s last recorded CD of his original music along with the story.

The books and CDs can be found on Jan’s website: jansikes.com, as well as on Amazon.com and on books.txauthors.com.
