Another burger bar? Yep, another burger bar is set to open in Plano!

Grub Burger Bar will be located at 8255 Preston Road Suite 300, Plano and is set to open at the end of June on Thursday June 29 with a Grand Opening event. The celebration kicks off at 11:00am – be one of the first 150 guests to arrive and you’ll receive your burger FREE + a Grub cup good for LIFETIME refills.

So with literally dozens of burger bars recently opened and already established in Plano, what makes Grub Burger Bar stand out from the crowd? Here are a few reasons you might want to give Grub a taste when they open in June:

1. Grub uses “quality, fresh, and differentiating ingredients.”

According to their website, their buns are baked from scratch every hour. Their signature blend of chuck and brisket is ground in-house daily. All of their sauces and dressings are homemade. And they source locally whenever possible.

That kind of commitment to quality is usually a delicious recipe for success.

2. Pepperoni Pizza Burger, The Lockhart Legend, MUFFULETTA…

They don’t sound like your ordinary burger do they? And while Grub Burger Bar does have more “normal” burgers, they offer some more non-traditional ones on a rotating/seasonal basis. Recent varieties have included the Pepperoni Pizza Burger, The Lockhart Legend (currently available at their Dallas location) and the MUFFULETTA—beef, provolone cheese and salami topped with our house made olive tapenade on a garlic sesame bun

Chocolate shakes? Oreo cookie shakes? How vanilla! At Grub Burger Bar, you’ll find some pretty cool shakes on the regular menu: The Kitchen Sink has pretzels, peanut butter, salt, butterscotch sauce, caramel sauce, chocolate chips, coffee grounds, and potato chips, while Worms & Dirt is crushed Oreos topped with gummy worms.

But that’s not all. They also have “Market Shakes”—think of them as “Shake Specials”—and these really are special. Recent blends have included The Rice Krispy Treat Shake and Glazed and Confused—topped with your choice of a whole glazed donut!

They also have spiked shakes, like the ET Drunk Dial with 7 Chocolate vodka, Reeses Pieces, peanut butter and chocolate garnished with a peanut butter cookie.

4. More than burgers.

Now open with 14 restaurants in five states, and with numerous accolades to their name, there is no doubt that Grub Burger Bar does great burgers—but they do so much more, too!

On the menu, you’ll find Ahi Tuna, a variety of salads and a good selection of veggie, turkey and fish burgers.

While we’re sure there’s probably a few more reasons to give this new burger bar a try once they open in Plano in June, surely we had you at donut-topped-shakes? See you there!
