With already four locations within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (and a total of 31 in Texas), we’re thrilled to announce that VertsKebap has just opened a fifth location—and it’s right here in Plano…at West Plano Village, 1855 Dallas Parkway, Ste. 300 to be exact.

Having celebrated their grand opening earlier this week, the Austin-based chain will now be open and serving up delicious “kebaps,” wraps, falafel and fries from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Kebaps? Kebabs?

Kebaps you say? No it’s not a spelling mistake, a Kebap or rather an İskender kebap is actually one of the most famous meat foods of northwestern Turkey. According to Wikipedia, a kebap is “a kind of döner kebab prepared from thinly cut grilled lamb basted with hot tomato sauce over pieces of pita bread and generously slathered with melted sheep butter and yogurt.” Sounds good right!? No wonder co-founders Michael Heyne and Dominik Stein decided to bring the concept from Europe to Texas… and no wonder it’s been such a big hit!

That being said, the VertsKebap is actually a Berlin-inspired Kebap and on the menu, you’ll find an entire range of different and customizable kebap-style folded sandwiches…so what are you waiting for? Let’s dig in!
