Neighbors and friends of Plano’s Deerfield community are invited to the 4th annual Deerfield Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, May 7 from 6–10 p.m., sponsored by Classic BMW. Bring your blankets, chairs, picnic baskets and favorite beverage for this free event, which will take place at the Deerfield clubhouse and grounds (4549 Old Pond Drive, Plano).

The fun-filled evening will include Brass, Broadway, Disney and Jazz performances. A different type of music will be performed every hour, including music by members of the Plano Symphony Orchestra; The Imperial Brass Quintet; a Broadway compilation with Carl Johnson on Piano, accompanied by special guest singers Samantha McHenry and Logan Lane; and the Rosana Eckert Jazz Quartet.

That’s not all! In collaboration with the Plano Arts Association, many professional artists will be bringing their artwork for display and possible purchase.

There will be a free wine tasting and special food options available for purchase, too.

Children’s activities will include face painting, balloon animals, and the PSO Instrument Petting Zoo.

“I believe the Deerfield Music & Art Festival has seen amazing success because it is an exciting outdoor concert geared towards families, and for no cost,” said Oliver Schlaffer, founder of the event. “It is all about adding to the quality of life here in Plano, and we look forward to seeing more and more people come out each year!”
