Courtyard Texas Music Series 2016

Throw on a pair of boots, a cowboy hat and a pearl snap. Plano’s Courtyard Texas Music Series is gearing up for the first show of the year on Thursday, March 3 with Reckless Kelly!

Courtyard Theatre, a 321 seat, proscenium-style theater with a large stage and spacious lobby, located in Historic Downtown Plano, is locally known for the many artistic performances put on their stage. However, in 2011 a group of Plano residents who shared a common love for the arts felt the Theatre could produce more, whether it was a series of plays, shows or concerts. After countless meetings, they came up with a great idea resulting in what Courtyard Texas Music Series is today!

Plano Profile, 95.3 The Range, and Love and War in Texas all proudly sponsor this year’s concert series consisting of nine shows, spanning from March to November on the first Thursday of every month.

This year’s series kicks off with Reckless Kelly, a Texas country band from Austin who has produced over eight albums and was a 2011 Grammy Nominee for the album Good Luck & True Love. April’s and May’s artists have been announced: Jason Boland and Asleep at the Wheel, respectively. The remaining six artists have not yet been announced, but we will continue to make updates as announcements are made.

Season tickets are already sold out for the 2016 season. For future reference, season tickets include all nine shows for a total of $250 per ticket.

Don’t fret, general concert tickets are still available at $25 each. Sales for each concert open the Monday before the previous concert in the series. For example, sales for April open Monday, February 29, which is just before the March concert.
