It’s time for North Texas to properly celebrate the King of Rock and Roll—Elvis Presley! The first annual Texas Tribute to Elvis Festival is coming to the world famous Southfork Ranch in Parker for one weekend only, March 4–6.
The three-day, world class event is presented by Tees Events USA who produce Europe’s Tribute to Elvis Festival in the U.K., which has been in production for four years now. Fans will celebrate the life of Elvis through live performances of his music by some of the world’s greatest tribute artists.
A preliminary heat contest of the Ultimate Elvis will be held in partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises. The winner of the contest will be the first name etched into the Texas’ Tribute to Elvis trophy, and will represent Texas in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest finals in Memphis. The festival will also feature Elvis-themed shows, including some of the world’s best Elvis tribute artists gracing the stage in the The Oil Barons Ballroom at Southfork Ranch. Plus, look forward to special guests, merchandise stalls, raffles, after-show private parties and much more.
Special guests include The Halladay Sisters, Linda Thompson and The Blackwood Quartet who will all be available for meet-and-greets after their bit, “Conversations on Elvis.” Here is a full schedule of the weekend’s events.
