In its ninth year, The Samaritan Inn hosts its annual Gala at the InterContinental Hotel Dallas on Saturday, February 27. This year, the night will be one of laughter and inspiration, presented by Capital One.
Supporters of the program, which is celebrating 30+ years serving the homeless in Collin County, will be in attendance for the elegant seated dinner, open bar, and extensive silent auction. The event will be an opportunity to change lives. This year, one of the funniest comedians in show business, Frank Calieno, will entertain guests.
Caliendo has been described as, “a combination of Robin Williams and Jim Carey,” by the Hollywood Reporter. Many people know him from his days on MADtv, star of his own series, FrankTV and NFL Sunday Pregrame Show and ESPN’s Mike & Mike. Caliendo has also been a regular performer in Las Vegas, has comedy specials that run on TBS and and Comedy Central, and is a frequent guest on the late night talk show circuit.

The Samaritan Inn
The Samaritan Inn is more than just a place to spend the night. It is a comprehensive program that teaches self-sufficiency and life skills to restore homeless individuals and families to independence through training, support and personalized case management. On a typical night, approximately 160 people sleep at the Inn, of which 60 are children.
