Faith Lutheran School of Plano Hosts Annual Fundraising Gala

On Saturday, February 27, Faith Lutheran School of Plano will host the school’s ninth annual fundraising gala and auction event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Allen, Texas. This year’s theme is “The Heavens Declare the Glory of God.” Funds raised at the event will expand and enhance math and science programming at the school, which serves students preschool through grade 12.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and features a plated dinner, prize drawings and the live and silent auction of a wide variety of donated items.
Tickets for the event are $50 each or $500 for a table of eight. $500 tables receive extra bidding time at the end of the silent auction and are served dinner first. Drawing tickets for prizes of $100 and $150 in auction dollars and $750 in gift cards of the winner’s choice are also available for $10 each.

Tickets are on sale through Wednesday, February 17.

“This auction event is a key fundraiser for Faith Lutheran School. You are invited to join us for an evening of good food and fun,” said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Wylie. “We are thankful for the generous support of the community and our school families who have worked so hard to ensure that this special evening will be a success.”

This year’s auction items up for bid include a week-long Spring Break ski vacation in Colorado, a bed-and-breakfast vacation package at Denton’s Old Irish Bed and Breakfast, a Sea World vacation package, a Lakewood Brewing gift basket, specialty wine and beer gift packages and gift cards, a wide variety of restaurant gift cards, Dallas Cowboys tickets, Frisco RoughRiders tickets, museum passes, grocery gift cards, an American Girl doll prize package, class projects crafted by Faith Lutheran School students and much more.

Faith Lutheran School

Faith Lutheran School is fully accredited and provides classes from pre-school 3-year-olds through the 12th grade.  School curriculum is based on the classical model of education. In 1971, the congregation of Faith Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas established a 4-year-old preschool for children of the congregation.
