Corner Wines Partners With Meadowlark Wines To Help Local Nurses Rebuild After December Tornadoes

Following the devastating tornadoes of December 26, the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex stood united to help victims rebuild and move on with their lives. Today, those efforts still continue as community members and local businesses come together.

Following the devastating tornadoes of December 26, the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex stood united to help victims rebuild and move on with their lives. Today, those efforts still continue as community members and local businesses come together. On Thursday, February 11, there will be a fundraiser at Corner Wines to help two local nurses rebuild their homes.

When Dr. Ramon Guerrero an anesthesiologist at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital found out that two of his colleagues had both lost their homes during the December tornadoes, he knew he had to help. Also the owner of a winery in Santa Barbara, California, (Meadowlark Winery), Dr. Ramon Guerrero decided to partner with Corner Wines to host a wine tasting fundraiser. He has donated all the wines for the evening and all the proceeds from purchases of Meadowlark Wines made throughout the evening will be donated to the two nurses.

The wine tasting fundraiser will take place on Thursday February 11, 5:30–8 p.m. at Corner Wines on 4017 Preston Rd. in Plano.
