Historic Downtown Plano keeps getting better and better!

Two restaurant owners who brought a couple of the best eats to the area, Jeff Bergus of Lockhart Smokehouse and Jorg Fercher from Jörg’s Cafe Vienna, created Ten 20 Gallery located in Downtown Plano Arts District.

Our community is filled with creative, local artists and the pair felt Plano needs a place where these artists’ work can be showcased. Bergus’ and Fercher’s idea first stemmed from their own love of art.

Artists from all over the area have already shown interest in the concept and displaying their art at this gallery. The men in charge are also very excited to give their restaurant guests a place to check out while they wait. The commute will be short since the two restaurants and Ten 20 Gallery are all conveniently located on the same street.

Their plan to pay for this casual, co-op venue for art fanatics is to get city grants and other forms of financial support. As for now, the building owner, Rutledge Haggard, is thoughtfully giving the first two months of the lease for free.

Ten 20 Gallery’s doors intend to open in February, so get ready, because soon an even more artsy vibe will arrive in wonderful Downtown!
