On January 30, 2016, the Plano ISD Education Foundations will host their annual fundraising, S.K.I (Supporting Kids in) Plano. This event is their primary fundraiser which supports the students, teachers, and programs of Plano ISD. Live music, dancing, and a silent auction are just a part of the plan for this fun-filled night.

For their 20th anniversary and to honor past event chairs, the Education Foundation hosted a VIP Reception party on January 13th. Park Place Lexus in Plano hosted the guests at their dealership with a lovely view of their new vehicles. Market Street provided the food for the guests while Republic National Distributing Company sponsored the drinks.

Current sponsors of the S.K.I. Plano, the event committee, and the Board of Directors of the Foundation, including Dr. Binggeli, Plano ISD Superintendent of Schools and Jean Callison, Foundation Board President attended the thank-you party. The VIP Reception was a spectacular night with cheers to all of the past and current supporters that SKI Plano over the past 20 years.

Plano ISD Education Foundation

The Plano ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with a mission to help all students in Plano public schools achieve their full potential by providing financial support to educators and academic programs. Since 1993, the Foundation has generated private support for priority projects for which tax dollars are not available. Since 2000, almost $9 million has been gifted to Plano ISD by the Foundation to enhance student learning; recruit, retain and recognize the very best teachers; or address critical needs of students and families so that all students can be successful. The Foundation also provides emergency assistance for teachers and staff members in crisis.
