Are you looking for something fun to do with your other half? Square dancing could be just the thing!

The Swinging Stars Square and Round Dance Club of Plano invites you to give square dancing a try. Apparently, it’s “good for the mind, body and soul!”

Starting January 12, lessons will be held at the Carpenter Rec. Center, 6701 Coit Rd, Plano and are taught by Wayne Baldwin. Running through to April 26, the full course of classes costs just $65 per person and the first two lessons (Jan. 12 and Jan. 19) are free! So why not give something new a try?

Square dance Lessons

When: Every Tuesday 7:15–9:15 p.m. from January 12 to April 26

Cost: $65 per person (first two lessons Jan. 12 and Jan. 19 are free)

Where: Carpenter Rec. Center, 6701 Coit Rd. Plano

Dress Code: Dress casual and wear comfortable shoes
