December 26 was a day that caused many of our North Texas neighbors heartache by way of a series of devastating tornadoes and ensuing storms and many unfortunate lost lives. This local tragedy spurred another “give back” program by Studio Movie Grill (SMG), a company that finds huge importance on working toward better and stronger communities.

This Thursday, January 7, SMG Plano will donate 10% of ALL purchases (food, beverage and tickets) made to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief. However, SMG’s efforts in making a difference are even broader than Plano and spread to all of their DFW and Tyler locations. Make sure to pass the word on to friends in the area so they too can help.

After the devastation, Red Cross responded immediately. They opened eight shelters throughout Texas with a combined total of 623 overnight stays. Their work started within days of the tornadoes by helping those affected begin their path to recovery.
