Italian Club of Dallas fundraiser supports Special Olympics Texas

The Italian Club of Dallas will host “Festa Italia” on Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at John Paul II High School in Plano. The Italian Festival and Bocce Tournament will have something for all ages.

The Italian Club of Dallas will host “Festa Italia” on Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at John Paul II High School in Plano. The Italian Festival and Bocce Tournament will have something for all ages. Winners of the Bocce Tournament will win cash prizes, and door prizes will be offered throughout the day.

There will also be an Italian car show, Italian folk dancing, old-country Italian games, grape stomping, and many kids’ activities. Authentic Italian foods will also be available for purchase, as well as an Italian market offering Italian pastas, tomatoes, olive oil, and desserts and breads made by club members.

This community-wide event will help support Special Olympics Texas. The Italian Club of Dallas has a dual mission of promoting Italian culture and performing charitable works.
