First Rides Announced For Peppa Pig Theme Park In North Texas

The theme park is expected to open later this year

Merlin Entertainments announced the unveiling of the initial trio of rides at the Peppa Pig Theme Park in North Richland Hills, Texas. These vibrant and child-friendly attractions comprise Daddy Pig's Roller Coaster, Peppa Pig's Balloon Ride and Mr. Bull's High Striker.

This construction signals the approach to the grand opening later this year. North Richland Hills is set to welcome the second Peppa Pig Theme Park in the United States, inspired by the cherished Hasbro preschool franchise tailored for young children and their families. The park will be owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments, a prominent figure in family entertainment experiences worldwide.

“It has been exciting to watch PEPPA PIG Theme Park being built in North Richland Hills,” said North Richland Hills Mayor Oscar Trevino. “I know many families are looking forward to visiting and building their first theme park memories together.”

Families will soon embark on an adventure aboard Daddy Pig's Roller Coaster, joining Daddy Pig in the iconic red car of the Pig family. As Mr. Bull's roadwork sends riders on an unexpected journey through Daddy Pig's "shortcut," they'll experience thrilling curves and twists. This family-friendly coaster is an ideal introduction to roller coasters, perfect for building confidence in young visitors.

Visitors can also take to the skies with Peppa on Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, offering breathtaking views of the theme park from high above on the family-friendly aerial carousel ride.

The last announced ride, Mr. Bull's High Striker ride, offers fun for the thrill-seekers. As the hammer strikes the bell, the ride shoots up into the sky before offering a family-friendly surprise drop.

More oinktastic experiences, including additional rides, themed play areas and a water play zone, tailored for little ones six and under and their families, will soon join these kid-friendly attractions.

Peppa Pig Theme Park will offer approximately one hundred full- and part-time positions. The theme park will host a recruitment fair in the Dallas-Fort Worth area before the grand opening. Prospective applicants can attend the fair in person or explore employment opportunities at Merlin Careers, PEPPA PIG Theme Park Dallas-Fort Worth or on social media pages, Facebook and Instagram.

“The opening of the park will contribute to our already strong economy, bringing more employment opportunities to young adults and other residents who are looking for jobs in this area,” Trevino said in a statement. “We could not be more thrilled about the opening of Peppa Pig Theme Park in North Richland Hills.”
